Lol, I don’t even want to think about what I should be reading for the winter, considering my 25 Reads isn’t nearly done, and I keep reading other random things that aren’t on my “I must read this year” list. But anyway, here goes…
Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR
Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs – Yeah, really meaning to pick this up, and it’ll probably be a quick read, considering I speed through most of the Mercy Thompson books within a day or two.
Snow White, Blood Red edited by Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling – Will have to borrow from the good ole’ library for this anthology. Looking forward to it, though, since I tend to want to read anthologies from time to time.
Nightingale by Melissa Mickelsen – Been wanting to read this for ages, and can never seem to get myself to buy it as an ebook (I don’t know why, because I have ebooks I’ve purchased). In any case, this one’s relatively indie, but still looks pretty darn good.
Spindle’s End by Robin McKinley – I haven’t had a McKinley fix in ages! Definitely something to read.
Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor – Oh yes. I am going to continue the series, since I enjoyed Daughter of Smoke and Bone so, so, so much.
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch – A fitting one to put on a winter TBR, though to be honest, I don’t know when I’ll get to this, if ever, this year. But there’s always January!
The Hundred-Foot Journey by Richard C. Morais – I saw a trailer for a movie based on this book, and hope to actually read the book before I see the movie. Most likely I’ll end up watching the movie first, but I’ll still read the book anyway, like I did with Life of Pi.
Cinder by Marissa Meyer – Really need to start this series.
Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas – This one’s a re-read, but a required one, since I have the rest of the trilogy ready to go.
The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison – I’m afraid my best friend might hunt me down if I don’t read any of the books she got me for my birthday (which was uh, last July…). I figure I can read this one at least.
Looks like a great TBr list! The only one I’ve read is Spindle’s End, and I can tell you it is wonderful! I adore Robin McKinley’s books. Happy Reading!

I love me some McKinley! And I keep telling myself to read more of her books, but my book attention span goes all over the place most of the time…

I’m always distracted by new books. Blood and Starlight was my least favorite of the trilogy, but stick with it because Dreams of Gods and Monsters is just as good as the first! 🙂 I haven’t read Throne of Glass yet, but I NEED to! Cinder is great! Predictable and fun and just really good! 🙂

Ohh, well, from the summary of the Blood and Starlight book, I figure I might be a little unhappy with the situation Karou and Akiva are put in. But I’ll certainly see the trilogy through!

Despite Snow Like Ashes being one of those books I added in excitement to the pile when it was first announced, I’ve yet to read it as well. There is also January….but there is also the end of the entire series….!
Cheers,

I feel ya with the whole, sticking to a to-read list is hard sentiment but it’s still so fun to make the list! The anthology looks especially interesting to me. Happy reading!
