I usually don’t read nonfiction outside of necessity, but having access to a ton of audiobooks via my library is a blessing, and I’ve increased my nonfiction book count this way. Which is why, when I saw memoirs of Felicia Day and Neil Patrick Harris, I totally went for them. Now, these audiobooks aren’t my favorites in the world, but I did come to respect the celebrities who penned these down more than I did before.
I really want to read NPH’s book, it’s such a unique idea! Good to know I have to read the physical copy though, thanks for the warning 🙂

Yeah, I definitely recommend a physical copy, even though there are some merits over listening to NPH narrate his life, lol.

I definitely want to try both, but definitely in print for NPH. Another that I want to try is As You Wish by Cary Elwes. 🙂

Yes! I have As You Wish by Cary Elwes on my list, too. 😀

I started reading NPH’s book, but stopped quarter of the way through (though I guess quarter here is subjective), because I wasn’t able to read it quickly and often kept getting lost due to the “Create your own adventure” nature of the book. I want to pick it up again when I have more time on my hands, but what I read was funny enough!

Haha, I’d probably get as distracted, too, because that’s what tends to happen when I open up a CYOA book.

I tried to listen to Felicity Day’s book, and it started out pretty good. But like you I got kind of bored with some of her narration and found myself not wanting to listen to it. So I gave up. I have the NPH book to read. I need to get around to it soon. Have you listened to Mindy Kahling’s books? Or the guy who plays Raj on The Big Bang Theory? I really enjoyed both of their books! Great “mini-reviews”! Very short and sweet and perfectly to the point so that I knew what to expect!

Ohhh I didn’t know Raj had a book he narrated! I will have to check it out, definitely. I’m actually not too big a fan of Mindy Kahling, though I have seen and enjoyed the first season of The Mindy Project. Thanks for stopping by!
