Mini Reviews: George’s Secret Key to the Univrse, Astrophysics for People in a Hurry

Let’s talk about space, baby!
Let’s talk of the skies, they’re starry.
Let’s talk about all the gases
That do have masses,
far as the eye can see…

Let’s talk about space,
Let’s talk about space!

I…have way too much time on my hands.

Gee, guess what connects these two mini-reviews together?

I actually read George’s Secret Key to the Universe as part of the English curriculum in the 5th grade, and for the most part, a lot of my voldies actually enjoyed the story! It definitely lends the fun in science fiction, and I can’t wait to rip into this again next year.

And because I was on such a serious space case, I embarked (hah) on another space trip, though in this case, it was a nonfiction audiobook. I probably would have appreciated the book when I was doing 8th grade research on black holes, but there it is.

Have you read either book? What did you think?
