Mini Reviews: Legends of the Fire Spirits, Wild Wicked Scot

More concise book reviews!

The first one I’d been reading as a reference. I’ve been very fascinated with jinn for years now, and at the time I was looking for writing research material, it was difficult to find information on jinn to begin with. How were they classified? What was the history surrounding them? Were they a widespread mythology within the Middle East?

In any case, I found Legends of the Fire Spirits to be really comprehensive, and I’m glad I finally managed to get my hands on a copy.

Wild Wicked Scot was a book I received at Bookcon as part of the Romance sweepstakes I signed up for. Which kind of netted me a ton of romance books. Which I honestly don’t read as frequently as I do others. So I kind of picked this up because hey, I read and enjoyed Outlander, so I’d totally like this one by Julia London, too, right?

I kind of did, but the romance for me was certainly not the staying factor for finishing this book. And that’s saying something.

Have you read either of these books? What did you think?
