I’ve been regularly churning out these book reviews that I’ve almost lost track of how many I have to do on the backburner. But I guess this is a good thing, since I tend to slow down on the reading during the fall.
Some more audiobook goodness! Well. Semi-goodness.
If you’re looking to get that Princess Diaries AND Crazy Rich Asians fix (other than watch both movies…on the same day…which I ended up doing after reading this book), then this was certainly on the nose for comparisons!
Not saying I won’t read another one of this Hades and Persephone retellings because I wasn’t a fan of the first book. I AM saying that I will probably read it as a text copy instead of have to listen to the same narrator get way too into all the sex scenes…
I’m also hoping Persephone as a character gets better, though.
