Mini Reviews: Wires and Nerve Vol. 2, Restore Me

Again, more books I’d read sometime in June but figure I’ll throw into the blog for the sake of completion!

I meant to write a review of Stars Above but then forgot I finished Wires and Nerve Vol 2: Gone Rogue. While I will most likely write a fuller review of each of the stories in Meyer’s collection, I figure the second volume of the graphic novel works fine as a mini-review. Another enjoyable installment! The artwork still isn’t my favorite, but there were cute moments in them!

The Shatter Me series has pretty much been the talk of my 7th grade class for the last half of the year (we were all over Holly Black’s The Folk of the Air series before that, which was well worth the read and squeeing time). While I’d enjoyed reading and reacting to the first three books, I think it’s safe to say that I have no plans in reading the last two in the series, or the novellas that accompany them. I’d like to things ended right at the climax of Ignite Me and just leave it there. Though, to be fair, I will always enjoy Warner’s quips.

Have you read either book? What did you think?
