Mini Reviews: Fangirl Vols 1 and 2

So a few years after I’d finished my undergrad studies, I came across Fangirl, which became one of my favorite reads back in the day. I had related to the story so much–as both someone who had mild social anxiety as well as someone who escaped said anxiety by going into fiction and fanfiction. Nowadays it’s harder to relate to Cath because I’d like to say I’ve developed and grown since then, but the book itself still has a special place in my heart.

Imagine my delight when I saw graphic novels adapted of the book! I honestly hadn’t realized this was happening, and I absolutely LOVE the first two volumes so far! I do believe there are two more coming up to finish up Cath’s tale, so I will definitely have to pick both up when I can.
