Mini Reviews: Twisted Hate, The Winner’s Curse

One adult book and one young adult book coming through!

Twisted Hate had no business being 500+ pages long, considering the previous books were much less than that. But YA KNOW, I’m not going to complain so much because of Dr. Josh Chen. And Jules. Because Jules is a rock star and they should all bow down and praise this lawyer queen.

But. Ya know. Josh knows how to grovel. Really, REALLY well. 😀

As for The Winner’s Curse, I may just not be in a YA mood atm, or maybe the star-crossed trope is throwing me off.

And I’m not sure I have the endurance to go through all that hurt just for the hope of a HEA in book 3. I’ve already gone through it in the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy, so I’m not sure I can do it again…

Also, is this a fantasy? I saw it more as a historical fiction…in a fantasy world setting, if that makes sense?
